The Book Blog and the Wayback Machine
Well, I probably won’t make a “thank you post” to all the people that link to me (not that I expect it to be that much), but I figured I may as well for the first few. Anyway, thanks to Tango for the link on his blog. I’d love to hear any advice from any of you folks coming from over there … obviously, you’re one large portion of the people who I hope can use this site (the experienced saber guys). Any suggestions on how to make things easier on you (or anything, really) would certainly be greatly appreciated, although as I mentioned over there, I’m really not good with the whole computer/running a web site thing. But I’ll try anything that I can. Anyway, take a look around and tell me what you think, if you’d like.

Searching through the internet over the last few nights, I found the Wayback Machine. Actually, I’d found it before, but kind of forgot about it. Basically, it’s just an archive of pretty much anything that’s been on the internet. It allows me to post things from Primer and various places that I thought didn’t exist anymore (like, for instance, Mike Emeigh’s series on fielding stats). I don’t really know how it works, but the links seem to be functional, so I don’t see any problem with it.
Anyway, maybe I will use this blog a little more often … I’ve just finished up some books (the analysis section of THT, The Book, and I’m about halfway through The Hidden Game …) — all great stuff, by the way — so maybe I’ll throw up some mini reviews here, not that I really have anything to add of substance.
… more links to be added later tonight and throughout the coming days.

Wow what a beautiful story. I have read your blog for a long time and have never posted a comment…It is no wonder that you often don’t open up comments with all the wack jobs out in this world.
