About
This is my very modest attempt to create a sort of reference site for people looking for research previously done in sabermetrics. Whether you just want to read up on past research or you’re looking to write up a paper and want to see what’s been done, I hope to eventually provide enough valuable links to help out.
To navigate your way around the site, click on the links either on the front page or on the sidebar. “Blog” is my blog on this site. “Links” is full of links to many of the great sabermetric Web sites out there. Every other page is a list of links, organized by author’s last name, on that particular subject.
My goal isn’t to provide my opinion on the articles/studies, so I generally won’t. I am not really qualified to offer that and I simply want to point you to something that may be helpful — not to anything in particular. I’ll provide a very brief description of the article and if the titles explains enough, I’ll just leave it alone. I may offer my opinions, my miniature studies, and whatever else in the blog (although most of that goes on my Padres/baseball blog, Friar Forecast). But the rest of the site is just a resource that you’ll hopefully find useful.
I’m very open to all kinds of feedback on anything — how to run this thing, what articles/studies to add, and so on. I will add anything … formal studies, articles, blog posts, and forum threads. Anything that could be helpful.
My email is myronlogan5@yahoo.com or you can contact me on the blog.
This is my attempt to give something back to the online baseball community that I’ve really enjoyed over the last few years, as my analysis and research skills are clearly lacking. It’s also fun, at least for me, to try putting something like this together. I hope you enjoy it, too. Thanks a lot for stopping by.
